Carol J. Diehl

         Carol J. Diehl, age 71, of Oregon, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.

          Carol was born February 29, 1948 in Oregon the daughter of Joseph W., Sr. and Bernetta (Gillenkirk) Zittle.  She married Darrell Diehl on December 24, 1969 in Oregon.  Carol was a homemaker who also helped on the farm.  She enjoyed canning, watching golf on TV, snowmobiling and camping.

          Survivors include her husband of Oregon; three step children, Kathy (Jeffrey) Adams of Oregon, Rick “DJ” (Kim) Weller of Baraboo, Wis. and Trina Dailey of Denver, Colo.; four sisters, Sharon (Donald) Probasco of Rockford, Patricia (William) Wanless of Deland, Fla., Roberta Church of Deland, Fla. and Sonia Doerfel of Deland, Fla.; two brothers, Vince (JoAnn) Zittle of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Donald (Cheryl) Zittle Deland, Fla.; and seven step grandchildren.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles Tillett and Joseph W. Zittle, Jr.; and one sister, Rebecca Zittle.

          Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Carlson officiating.  Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

          A memorial has been established.
