Dorothy "Dot" M. Knudsen

Dorothy “Dot” M. Knudsen, age 91, of Harmon, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at KSB Hospital in Dixon.

Dot was born March 1, 1926 in Sterling the daughter of William and Mabel (Eiktenal) Haak.  She married Roland “Chub”H. Knudsen on October 15, 1969 at the Rock Falls Methodist Church.  She was employed at AT&T in the business office in Sterling for many years.

Survivors include her husband of Harmon; two sisters-in-law, Norma Kellen and Betty Knudsen both of Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Bonnell; and two sisters, Margie McCarter and Ruth Haak.

Private funeral services will take place at a later date.

Memorials have been established to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Granny Rose Animal Shelter.

Arrangements were completed by Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.
