Lila Lee Burhenn

          Lila Lee Burhenn, 87, of Franklin Grove, died Monday, February 25, 2019 at her home.

          Lila Lee was born February 15, 1932 in Desoto the daughter of Jesse and Anna (Griffith) Partington.  She married John P. Burhenn on November 24, 1951 in Dixon.  He preceded her in death on October 25, 2018.  She was employed at Crest Foods for 43 years retiring in 2015.  Lila was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed cooking, cleaning and seamstress work. 

          Survivors include daughter, Susan (Walter Kant) Seaworth of Amboy;  sisters, Betty North of Dixon, Janice (Arland) Ayers of Ariz. and Joyce (Duane) Burkhardt of Dixon; brothers, Mike (Rhonda) Partington and John (June) Partington both of Dixon; and grandson, Jeff Miller of Franklin Grove.

          She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Roger Burhenn; sister, Alvera Forney; brothers, Pat Partington and Jim Partington; and brother-in-law, Butch North.

          Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
