Martha M. Hillison

Martha M. Hillison, age 84, of Sterling, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Avonlea Cottage in Sterling.

Martha was born July 9, 1933 in Dixon the daughter of Harry and Emma Louise (Plock) Sigel.  She married Eugene Hillison on October 27, 1951 in Amboy.  He preceded her in death on December 6, 2015.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Garcia of Fla.; one sister, Shirley (Melvin) Heiser of Fisher; three brothers, David (Bonnie) Sigel of Sterling, John (Gail) Sigel of Rock Falls and Dale (Johnnie) Sigel of Rock Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers, Harry Sigel and Roy Sigel.

Private burial will take place at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

Arrangements were completed by Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.
