Connie P. Ramirez

Connie P. Ramirez, age 66, of Eldena, died Friday, October 7, 2022 at her home.

          Connie was born June 23, 1956 in Sterling the daughter of Curt Heppler and Ellen (Gatz) Conrady.  She married Caleb Ramirez on August 16, 1985 in Sterling.  Connie was employed at the Edelmann Corp. in Dixon for many years.  She enjoyed traveling, cooking, music and feeding the birds.  She loved life and spending time with her family.

          She is survived by her husband, Caleb Ramirez of Eldena; two sons, Greg Wedekind of Dixon and Caleb (Nadia) Ramirez of Glendale, AZ; one brother, Joel (Jeannie) Heppler of Rock Falls; and three grandsons, Zakary Wedekind, Grahm Wedekind and Zane Ramirez.

          She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jeff Heppler.

          Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.  The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dalmus Meeks of Harvest Time Bible Church officiating.  Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

          In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls.
