Craig J. Kurzrock

          Craig J. Kurzrock, age 63, of Dixon, died Friday, August 26, 2022.

          Craig was born February 4, 1959 in Dixon the son of Joseph and Diane (Chandler) Kurzrock.  He was employed at Jack Mabley for 14 years as a MHT 2.  He loved his job and the people he worked with.  Craig was a strong union supporter and was vice president of the local Afscme 172.  He was an avid pool player, big Steelers fan and loved his motorcycle and Corvette.

          He is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Brandon) DeWaele of Polo; one sister, Karla Dowd of Dixon; two brothers, Keith Kurzrock and Chris Kurzrock both of Dixon; two grandchildren, Gabriel DeWaele and Lillian DeWaele both of Polo; two nieces, Andrea Herrmann of Dixon and Kelly (Daniel) Butler of Menifee, CA; and three nephews, Eric (Janet) Herrmann of Dixon, Anthony Kurzrock of Rockford and Braeden Kurzrock of Milwaukee, WI.

          He was preceded in death by his parents.

          A private family funeral will be held later this week.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

          A memorial has been established to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
