Dennis "Boris" E. Nelson

Dennis E. (Boris) Nelson, age 74, of Dixon died Sunday, March 7 at his residence.

Dennis was born January 2, 1947, in Elmhurst to Gerald and Rosella (Filler) Nelson. He graduated from Dixon High School in 1965. 

Dennis worked for many years as a machinist for Northwestern Steel and Wire and as a tool and die maker for Borg Warner. He then retired from Allied Locke in 2006.

He is survived by his brother Jerry (Barb) Nelson of Loves Park, Diana (Brown) Nelson of Dixon whom he married in 1970, his children and grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Rich and his nephew, Scott Nelson.

A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 12 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
