Donald Frey Obituary

Donald L. Frey, age 59, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, October 28, 2021at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.

Donald was born February 13, 1962 in Dixon the son of Donald W. and Virginia (Arbuckle) Frey. He married Marcia Shugars Gaul on December 21, 1995 in Dixon and was employed as a truckdriver for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Frey of Mt. Morris; his children, Joe Frey, Mitchell Frey, Evan Frey, Adam Frey, Anthony Frey, Justin Frey, Brittney Frey, Holly Gaul and Alan Gaul; three sisters, Sandy (Dennis) Barton of Alton, Mo., Debbie Hutton of Alton, Mo. and Katrisha (Mark) Davis of Dixon; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Xavier Frey; one brother, Jarrald Frey; one sister, Tina Winder; and one brother-in-law, Jim Winder.

Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
