Frank M. Howell

          Frank M. Howell, age 84, of Dixon, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.

          Frank was born October 9, 1934 in Dixon the son of Frank and Anna (Blackburn) Howell.  He served in the US Army and later married Betty J. Baumgardener on July 2, 1955 in Dixon.  She preceded him in death on May 22, 2007.  Frank was employed as a Teamster truck driver for 45 years.

          Survivors include one daughter, Janice (Ryan) Withers of Oregon; three sons, Daniel Howell of Eldena, Richard Howell of Polo and Gary Howell of Dixon; one brother, John Howell of Dixon; four grandchildren, Mindy (John) Hochstein, Brian (Kara) Howell, Anna Withers and Toni Withers; and two great grandchildren.

          He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one brother, Wesley Howell; and one sister, Madeline Bonnell.

          Cremation rites will be accorded.  A private ceremony will take place at a later date.
