Harold R. Schmall, 59, of Franklin Grove, passed away at 10:01 AM Monday (February 16, 2015) at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford.
He retired as a Dietary Supervisor for the Elgin Mental Health Center in Elgin.
He was born on November 17, 1955 in Dixon to Virgil & Irene (Behrendt) Schmall.
He is survived by brothers: James (Melinda) Schmall of Dixon, David Schmall of Dixon and Rick (Sue) Bonnell of Orlando, FL; and a sisters: Carol (Ned) Sikkema of Dixon and Shiela Muskie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Glen Bonnell.
He graduated from Dixon High School.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Dixon, with the Rev. Mike Jones officiating.
Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 PM Friday at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon and also from 10 AM until time of services Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America.
