Harold P. White

          Harold P. White, age 96, of Dixon, died Monday, January 11, 2021 at his home.

          Harold was born February 3, 1924 in Shoney, Mo the son of Leonard and Ada (Page) White.  He served in the US Army Air Force during WWII.  He married Wilma Joyce on September 11, 1947 in Dixon.  She preceded him in death on May 25, 1981.  He later married Sue Scaggs on April 10, 1982 in Dixon.  Harold enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  He and Sue spent 35 winters in Florida.

          He is survived by his wife, Sue White of Dixon; two daughters, Diane Majors and Cheryl (Jim) Yeater both of Dixon; one brother, Curt White of Franklin Grove; and one granddaughter, Dawn Davis of Elizabeth Colo.

          He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma White; his parents; and one brother, Mick White.

          A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

          A memorial has been established.
