Henrietta L. Reed-Hillman, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on December 7th 2025 at the age of 99. She was born on March 26th 1926 in Silver Creek, Illinois, where her remarkable life journey first began. Henrietta was known for her kindness strength and for the unwavering love she showed to everyone around her. Throughout her life, she worked as a clerk at Kroger Grocery in Dixon, Illinois. Her presence brought comfort, wisdom, and joy to those fortunate enough to know her. Family was the heart of Henrietta's world. She is survived by a daughter, Charlene Wiley (Dennis), a Son, Dewayne Reed (Melaney), as well as Six grandkids and many great grandkids, all of whom will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents Rieko and Henrietta Nevenhoven, Her husbands Donald Reed and Earl Hillman. Henrietta's legacy lives on in the values she instilled: compassion, resilience, and the importance of cherishing those we love. Her stories, traditions, and gentle spirit will continue to guide her family for generations. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to her wonderful caregivers at Manor Court of Rochelle where she has been for the last 20 months and those who knew her for their prayers and support during this time. Henrietta L. Hillman will be deeply be missed and forever remembered.
