Jack E. Ranken

Jack E. Ranken, 87, of Dixon IL passed away on Tuesday, November 12,2024 in Queen Valley, Az.  He was born April 15, 1937 in Dixon the son of John  and Vivian

( Halleran ) Ranken.  On January 12, 1957 he married Priscilla Ragan  in Dixon.  She preceded him in death on August 10,2021   He was the owner of Blackhawk Roofing and Siding for 35 years until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of Mason Lodge 7 as a 32nd degree Mason.  He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.  Jack was survived by his brothers Dave ( Gail ) Ranken and Gerry Ranken both of Dixon; his sons Bill ( Tracy )  Ranken and Mark ( Donna) Ranken both of Dixon,  Brian  ( Nicole ) Ranken of Queen Valley , Az and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Sandy Gipson,  daughter, Kimberly Williams and grandson, Phillip Ranken.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Local arrangements are entrusted to Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
