Jennie K. (Sneek) Thompson

  Jennie K. Thompson, 93, of Franklin Grove formerly of Woosung died at 12:49 AM Thursday (Sept. 5, 2013) at Franklin Grove Nursing & Rehab.

  She was born on October 16, 1919 in Freeport, IL to George & Rena (Terhark) Sneek.  She married Lee N. Thompson on July 6, 1957 in Dixon.  He preceded her in death on June 13, 1993.

  She is survived by a sister, Kathryn (Larry) Yingling and a brother, Melvin (Mary) Sneek, both of Dixon.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Frederick, Simon and Alfred Sneek.

  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday (Sept 7, 2013) at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.  Rev. John Kalebaugh of The Refuge Church in Amboy will officiate.

  Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Dixon is in charge of the arrangements.
