John Howard Kime

  John Howard Kime, 69, of Dixon, passed away Thursday (January 14, 2016) at his residence.

  He was a longtime member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 25.

  He was born on August 29, 1946 in DeKalb, IL to Clifford E. & Bernice M. (Patch) Kime. 

  John is survived by three sons:  Kenneth Kime of Dixon, Klifton (Mitzi) Kime of Golden, CO and Kordell (Shannon) Kime of Firestone, CO from his former marriage to Marie (Holtz) Parker; 2 grandchildren:  Jakob & Kelley Kime of Firestone, CO.; 2 brothers:  Jim (Barbara) Kime of Athens, GA and Jerry (Toni) Kime of Dixon; and three sisters:  Judi Mueller of Sumerlin, Nevada, Jane Bousel of Tucson, AZ and Janet (Gordon) Mool of Amboy.

  He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Zakory Kime.

  He graduated from Dixon High School and also from Sauk Valley Community College.

  Private visitation and funeral services were held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.  Interment was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
