Loraine G. (Ansteth) Landheer

  Loraine G. Landheer, 66, of Dixon, passed away Saturday (December 5, 2015) in Dixon.

  She was born July 23, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Edmund R. & Cora A. (Schrock) Ansteth.  She married Paul W. Landheer on June 28, 1987 at the Lutheran Church in Amboy.  He preceded her in death on August 26, 2008.

  She is survived by cousins:  Bernard (Carol) Rockwood of Mendota and Kay (John) Roda of Oglesby.

  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

  She retired in 2014 from Plews-Edlumann in Dixon having worked there since 1973.

  She graduated from Dixon High School in 1969.  Loraine loved to crochet and knit and loved her cat and dog.  She was a member of the Support our Trooops out of the American Legion.

  A visitation will be held from 10 AM until Noon Friday at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.  Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home. 

  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
