Louise (Kirby) Johnson

  Louise Johnson, 85, of Dixon, passed away at 12:11 AM Friday (December 19, 2014) at Franklin Grove Living & Rehab in Franklin Grove.

  She was born on December 6, 1929 in Clinton KY to James Thomas & Lora B. (Burgess) Kirby. 

  She is survived by a daughter:  Pamela “P.J.” Baker of Dixon; 4 grandchildren:  DeAnna Morris, Roxanne Hanna and Michael and Markus Baker; 6 great grandchildren:  Makayla Morris, Noah Morris, Zachary Hoyle, Logan Hanna, Abigail Hanna and Olivia Baker and a brother:  James (Carol) Kirby of Dixon.

  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lorine Richard.

  She attended schools in Clinton, KY and had been employed by Freeman Shoe Factory and retired from Donaldson Company in Dixon.  She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dixon.

  Louise enjoyed flowers and Gardening.

  A celebration of life visitation will be held from 10 AM until Noon on Tuesday at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon with a Celebration of Life service at Noon.  Pastor Jack Briggs of Unity Hospice will officiate.

  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon. 

  Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
