Marian E. Nealy

Marian E. Nealy, age 103, of Dixon, died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Heritage Square.

          Marian was born April 15, 1920 in Lanark the daughter of William Henry and Achsa Mae (Paul) Kness.  She married Ellis Nealy on December 14, 1941 in Kahoka, MO.  He preceded her in death on January 14, 1998.  Marian was a beautician and co-owned Mademoiselle Beauty Shoppe for 41 years retiring in 1980.  She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dixon where she was involved in church support groups.  Marian enjoyed being a Boy Scout and Cub Scout Leader.

          She is survived by her son, William (Jan) Nealy of Port Washington, WI; two grandchildren Stacy (Cory) Jeffers and Amanda (Mike) Styles; and  great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, Chad, Ally, Avery, Mia, Ethan, Hope, and Faith.

          She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Evelyn (Donald) Burton and Helen (Robert) Keim; and one granddaughter, Annie Nealy.

          A family graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
