Mavis C. (Beach) Petit

  Mavis C. Petit, 84, of Dixon passed away Sunday (July 19, 2015) at K.S.B. Hospital in Dixon.

  She was born December 10, 1930 in Dixon to C. Edward and Frances (Clark) Beach.  She married John Petit in Dixon IL.  He preceded her in death on July 16, 2003.

  She is survived by her children:  Jon Petit of Woodridge; Jan (Gerri) Grimm of Dixon and Scott Petit of Houston, TX; a grandson; a sister, Mary Jane Spinden of Dixon and a brother, Bert (Marilyn) Beach of Louisiana.

  She was preceded in death by her parent and husband.

  She graduated from Dixon High School and retired from K.S.B. Hospital as a billing receptionist.

  She loved to read, especially Stephen King Novels and loved to watch movies.

  Private services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.  The Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon is in charge of the arrangements.
