Patricia Ann (Dresden) Sofolo

June 8, 1942 ~ September 10, 2014 (age 72) 72 Years Old

  Jesus took Granny, Patricia Ann Sofolo, 72, of Woosung, home to be with Grandpa, Stanley Sofolo Sr. on Wednesday September 10, 2014 at 12:30 AM.  Pat was surrounded by family in her home when she passed away.  Pat was born on June 8, 1942 in Polo, Illinois the daughter of Robert & Leota (Zimmerly) Dresden.  She married Stanley Sofolo Sr., on Jan. 31, 1963.

  Pat retired from Huffy’s in Dixon in late 2009.  She was an avid card shark, loved to read and enjoyed any opportunity to spend time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.

  She is survived by her children:  Trina Sofolo, Shelly (Dave) Frye, both of Dixon, Stanette (Rockie) Penaflor of Sterling and Stan (Barb) Sofolo Jr. of Polo; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and Samson Frye, her granddog.  She is also survived by brothers:  Bob Dresden and Jim (Sandy) Dresden of Nevada and her sister Connie (Jim) Root of Wyoming.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on July 26, 2011; sister Judy Cripe and brothers Mike and Vince Dresden.

  A visitation will be held from 10 AM – Noon on Saturday at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon with services to follow at Noon.  Rev. Bob Clardie of Lost Lake Church will officiate.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon at a later date.

  In lieu of flowers memorial has been established.
