Pearl (Lambert) Delaughter White

HOUSTON, TX- Pearl Lambert Delaughter White 92, of Houston, TX, formerly of Dixon, IL passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 in Houston, TX.

Pearl was born on February 10, 1925 in Dixon, IL, the daughter of Edwin and Florence Howell-Lambert.  She married Lloyd Delaughter in January 1948, and later married Carl White in August 1976.

Surviving are her two daughters, Sandra Martinelli of Spring, TX and Susan (Terry) Bomar of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Debra Bolin, Chase Bomar, and Colby Bomar all of Houston, TX; and great grandchildren, Cali Smith of Dallas, TX and Erica Bomar of Houston, TX.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Carl White; grandson, James Donovan; and siblings, Joseph Lambert, Harry Lambert, Grace Bosshart, Ruby Lambert, and Donnie Lambert.

Pearl was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She was a very hard worker, and she continued to work well into her 80’s.  She loved and enjoyed every minute of life and loved to explore, and was always ready for the next adventure.  

Pearl never met a stranger, and she will be greatly missed by all those that knew her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and a Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 1121 N. Galena Ave., Dixon, IL with Rev. Vincent Marrandino officiating.  Burial will be private.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 93 S. Hennepin Ave., Dixon, IL.
