Pearl R. Garren, 103 of Rockford, passed away at 9:25 AM Tuesday (September 23, 2014) at River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford.
She was born on February 27, 1911 in Grand Detour to Andrew J. & Lydia (Smice) Heaton. She married Loran W. Garren on June 9, 1928 in Dixon. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1997.
She is survived by two daughters: Norma Brady of Harlingen, TX and Lavonne Huffman of Rockford.; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and numerous great great and great great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a granddaughter, Susan Brady.
She was a member of the United Church of God AWA of Beloit Wisconsin.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM Friday at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon with graveside services and interment to follow immediately after the visitation at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon. Rev. Michael Hanisko will officiate.
