Raymond W. Albert, Sr., age 75, of Dixon, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.

Raymond was born February 20, 1946 in Shoreditch, England the son of William and Lillian Albert. He served honorably in the US Navy during Vietnam and later married Lois Eberly. She preceded him in death on November 27, 2013. Raymond was employed as a truck driver and was passionate for CB and Ham radios. Ray was past president of the Arizona Goat Ropers CB Club. His Ham radio call sign was KB9SWL. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and loved his cat, Judge Judy.

He is survived by many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Casual dress is encouraged.
