Ronald H Zika

  Ronald Howard Zika, 82, of Dixon, passed away Tuesday (March 17, 2015) at his residence.

  He was born September 4, 1932 in Oak Park, IL to Joseph George & Elizabeth (Dassinger) Zika Jr.

  He is survived by a sister, Joan E. Ramagos of Oakland Park, FL; nieces:  Sandra Ramagos of Oakland Park, FL, Diane (Ignacio) Vila of Plantation, FL; Laura (Joseph) Weidman of Hazel Park, MI, Denise (William) Slade of Plantation, FL; numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  He is also survived by Michael Dilger of New York, whom he thought of as his own grandson.

  He was preceded in death by his parents.

  He served in the United States Navy and had formerly worked at Dixon Publishing.

  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM Monday at. St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dixon.  There will be no visitation.

  Interment with military rites by the Dixon Combined Veterans organizations will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.

  The Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon is in charge of the arrangements.
