Shauna L. (Jensen) Jensen

  Shauna L. Jensen, 47, of Dixon, passed away at 8:13 AM Saturday (January 23, 2016) at K.S.B. Hospital in Dixon.

  She was a C.N.A. at local health care facilities for many years.

  She was born on March 20, 1968 in Sterling, IL to John & Brenda (Motsinger) Jensen. 

  She is survived by her companion Lupe Hernandez of Dixon,  her son, Zach (Destiny Evans) Jensen of Dixon; a grandson, Brayden Jensen; her parents of Dixon; a brother, Michael (Dalene) Jensen of Dixon; sisters: Lisa (Darren) Dexter of Dixon and Rachel (Glen Helfrich) Jensen of Dixon; her grandparents:  Dorothy & Howard Chapman of Dixon and nieces and nephews:  Kassie, Tory, Stephen, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Isaac, Emilie, Emma, Christopher and Xane.

  She was preceded in death by her grandparents:  Delmar & Celia Motsinger and Elvin Jensen.

  She had attended Dixon High School.

  Shauna was everyone’s caretaker, always taking care of others before herself.

  A visitation will be held from 10 AM until Noon Wednesday at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.

  Funeral services will be held at Noon Wednesday at the funeral home.  Rev. Vincent Marrandino, Chaplain at K.S.B. Hospital will officiate.

  Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

  Memorials may be directed to the family.
