I remember Virgil when his family lived north of Steward on the M.W.Ravnaas farm. They were nice people to have as an addition to the community. Virgil Jr. and Gerald went to Steward Grade School until they moved to south of Franklin Grove to their 80 acres which my father suggested they buy through the new government program. (he knew there were more "good Pages" to hire.) All the Pages were ambitious, honest, intelligent folks. My family (Lyle, David and Lois and I) visited Virgil Jr. in California at CBS one summer. We were impressed! We celebrate his life!
