William M Ogan

William M. “Bill” Ogan age 88 of Clinton, IA died Friday March 22, 2024 at his home.  He was born Nov. 6, 1935 in Dixon, IL the son of Gail and Elizabeth (Martin) Ogan.  Bill had worked at Pinney Printing in Clinton for over 30 years.  He was a veteran of the Army and a member of Izaak Walton League of Clinton.  Bill enjoyed cars and going to car shows.

He married Ruth Elizabeth “Betty” Gascoigne April 15, 1962 in Amboy, IL

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Frances Wright and one brother Gail Ogan Jr.

Bill is survived by his wife Betty, one sister Patricia “Pat” (Richard) Fluck of Lake Summerset, three brothers Donald Ogan, Phil (Pam) Ogan and Bob Ogan all of Dixon.

Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of cremains will be on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Izaak Walton League.  Arrangements by the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon.  www.chapelhilldixon.com
