I worked with Darrell for several years at Woods. He was one of the best to be around. He was ready to try new production ideas, did excellent work, and was always reliable. I will miss him and the time we shared outside of work talking about life and dealing with its struggles.

Darrel was about as good of man as you could find anywhere! I met Darrel at Woods many years ago and we became "sports Buddies" because of our love the the White Sox and Bears. The last time I saw Darrel was shortly after the White Sox won the world series in 2005 and we talked for a good 30 minutes about that series. I know Darrel was dedicated to his family and was a great family many. I haven't seen or talked to Darrel in quite some time but I have thought about him often whenever I would venture out the the old Penn Corner neighborhood that I used to live. I know the family will greatly miss their loving father and husband. I also know that Darrel would love having everyone in a Bears or White Sox shirt and would abhor anyone that showed up in a cub shirt. That's how us die hard White Sox fans roll! Rest in Peace Darrel!
