Vicki Strum, 51, of Oregon, IL passed peacefully to heaven at 8:10 AM Saturday (November 30, 2013) at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.
She was born on January 20, 1962 to Oscar & Patsy (Hiller) Strum II.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Boken of Oregon; her son, Andrew Boken of Oregon; 3 brothers: Oscar (Teresa) Strum of Dixon, Mike (Carol) Strum of Dixon and John (Mary) Strum of Farmer City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Brittany Boken.
Vicki graduated from Dixon High School and attended Sauk Valley Community College.
She had been employed by Raynor Manufacturing.
She had also volunteered for The American Red Cross.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
A memorial has been established for the family.
